**Benefits Specialist** Salt Lake City, UT - **IN-OFFICE** HOURS: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM $36.00 - $38.00/hr. A highly respected institution is seeking a skilled **HR Benefits Specialist** with expertise in leave management and workplace accommodations to join their team. This highly visible role requires exceptional customer service skills, ensuring employees receive personalized support in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. _The ideal candidate will have experience administering benefits and managing complex leave policies for a workforce of 1,000+ employees across multiple offices nationwide._ **Benefits Specialist Requirements:** + 2+ years of experience specifically working with Leaves of Absence (LOA) or Accommodations + Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws related to leaves and disability accommodations, including FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leave laws, preferably nationwide. + Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience + Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws related to benefits + Prior experience with HRIS/PAYROLL systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office products + Prior experience in a large organization’s human resource function and HR Shared Service Center experience + Progress towards or completion of CBP, CEBS, or other HR-related certifications is extremely helpful **Responsibilities of the Benefits Specialist:** + Administer all leave of absence requests and accommodations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies and procedures. + Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and other departments effectively providing timely and accurate information to employees and stakeholders. + Serve as the primary point of contact for employees inquiring about leave and accommodation options. + Analyze leave and accommodation data, identifying trends and providing recommendations for continuous improvement of policies and procedures. + Lead training sessions and workshops to educate employees and managers on leave and accommodation policies, rights, and responsibilities. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to leaves and accommodations, ensuring employee privacy and data security. _PrincePerelson & Associates is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we do not discriminate against applicants due to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
