The International Benefits Specialist will support Latin American and the Caribbean (Costa Rica, Brazil, and Mexico) benefits programs including but not limited to medical, dental, life insurance, disability, and pension.  This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across and beyond Human Resources, as well as with external partners such as brokers. The role reports to the Sr. Benefits Manager, International Benefits.

 

 

Responsibilities

Point of contact for the Grocery Voucher program including but not limited to uploading information to the supplier portal, validate the file layout generated by payroll is accurate. Validate enrollments of new hires, and terminations. Assist with Saving Plan enrollments and withdrawals. Lead new hire benefits orientation, enrollments, and process life event changes. Conducts employee education meetings. Coordinates and facilitates financial well-being activities such as retirement workshops and educational webinars. Review monthly invoices for approval. Participates in annual open enrollment projects from start to finish. Assist with program communications and resource materials to increase employee understanding and engagement of the benefit programs. Assists with new HCM projects (open enrollment, new benefits, etc.), and issue resolution. Identifies opportunities to improve benefit programs and process improvement. Maintain Knowledge Base FAQs in HR Service Portal. Provides support on various benefits compliance efforts. Coordinates Service Award program. Assists with Retirement plan administration. Responds to employee benefits questions and concerns. Provides resolution support on employee issues such, enrollment, billing. Provides guidance to members on open enrollment issues and benefit options. Facilitate wellness events including but not limited to screenings, financial wellness, and mental health workshops. Partner with various in-country brokers to provide benefits support. Other benefits duties as assigned. Maintains confidentiality with high level of integrity Serves as a team back up
