Benefits Sr Analyst

Purpose: Are you passionate about employee benefits and eager to make a significant impact? As an HR Sr Benefits Analyst at Athene, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering and managing our employee benefit plans. Your expertise will ensure our employees receive the best support and guidance. Accountabilities: + Benefit Expertise: Demonstrate expert knowledge and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA. Independently lead and participate in benefits-related projects to ensure timely and successful completion. + Daily Benefits Processing: Coordinate the daily processing of benefits, including new employee enrollments, benefit election changes, terminations of coverage, COBRA, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, rollovers, QDROs, QMCSOs, ESPP, 401(k) distributions, loans, hardship withdrawals, and compliance testing. + Educational Programs: Design and distribute materials for new hire orientation programs, benefit program overviews, annual open enrollment, and summary plan descriptions. You'll also lead orientation sessions to help employees make informed decisions about their benefits. + Implementation and Communication: Assist in implementing new benefits and plan design changes, including employee communication, HR systems testing, vendor management, and auditing. Qualifications and Experience: + Experience: Over 4 years of work experience, with at least 3 years in benefit administration. + Knowledge: Proficient in health benefits and 401(k) retirement plans; experience with Workday and/or Fidelity is a plus. + Skills: Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. + Certifications: Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) is a plus.
