Bereavement Assistant

The Bereavement Administrative Assistant will be responsible for administratively supporting the Bereavement program to meet the needs of families/caregivers for 13 months following the death of a patient.  This position will ensure compliance with all state, federal, and CHAP regulatory requirements and will be responsible for the management of all administrative tasks.

 

High school graduate required.  Associate degree in business management or related field preferred.

Two (2) years data entry experience preferred.

Knowledge and commitment to hospice philosophy required.

Proficient in the English language.  Able to speak and write English in a clear and concise manner required.        

Demonstrates organizational skills.

Ability to work independently required.

Proficient in working with organizational systems and Excel software.

Ability to learn and effectively use Electronic Medical Records system required.
