Job Description: BESS Category Buyer Mission Context

Seeking a BESS Category Buyer to lead the global purchase of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) equipment and services. This role supports our ambitious BESS development strategy by structuring procurement processes, managing suppliers, and improving overall purchasing performance. 

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development

Analyse the market, propose purchasing strategies, and define supplier panels. Present strategies and updates to internal stakeholders.

Supplier Management

Qualify suppliers, build relationships, and review performance regularly. Develop framework agreements with key suppliers.

Contractual and Procurement Management

Collaborate with legal and stakeholders to draft contracts. Oversee the end-to-end purchasing process from tenders to delivery.

Performance Optimisation

Propose improvements to procurement processes and monitor efficiency indicators. Objectives Develop market intelligence, define a supplier strategy, and maintain a vendor list. Deliver signed framework agreements and manage BESS procurement projects. Requirements Languages: Fluent French and English, intermediate Chinese preferred. 5+ Years of experience in procurement  Experience with BESS Projects
