Role\nOverview:

As the BESS Segment Solution Leader EMEA –\nGrid Scale, you will use your strong leadership and business development skills,\ndeep knowledge of the grid scale battery energy storage industry and the\napplicable Honeywell solutions to enable the profitable growth of the Battery\nEnergy Storage Vertical in your associated pole EMEA.

This role reports into the EMEA Pole Leader\nand is primarily responsible for building go-to-market strategies, working\ncollaboratively with business development and sales organizations in the pole.\nYou will be responsible for bringing a deep understanding of the market,\ncustomer needs, trends, and government policies to the development of a pursuit\nstrategy. This role also liaises with and provides customer insights to the Technical\nSolutions Consultants in the pole, as they pull together complex technical\nresponses to proposal requests. This role also works collaboratively with other\nsolutions leaders in the vertical to ensure alignment and consistencies across\nthe globe.

The BESS Segment Solution Leader – Grid Scale,\nis responsible for benchmarking and evaluating new technologies or new\nofferings from suppliers to integrate into our solutions. Additionally, the\nrole is responsible for supporting the identification and development of key\npartnerships in their associated pole. Attendance at key trade shows and\ntechnical conferences and presenting at such events is required when assigned.

Travel: 40-50 %

Responsibilities:

Be a change agent - influence, consult, and lead efforts for sharing and standardizing of best-in-class solutions
Coordinate customer segment focused solutions across various lines of business to act as a trusted client partner, relied on for strategic points of view to drive value-based solutions; facilitate cross SBG engagement at Pole level.
Provide strategic thought leadership and analytic consulting to businesses, sales, and vertical leadership
Work with the Pole Leader to align and drive the customer segment growth strategy for the vertical in the Pole.
Build strong relationships with key customers in the Pole, relative to the associated customer segment.
Form and manage strategic partnerships with 3rd parties needed to support the new business models.
Define, create, and socialize solutions offerings for industry and sub-industry solutions including supporting collateral (PPT, battlecard), target accounts/clients.
Collaborating with other Vertical Solutions Leaders and Offering Management leaders to implement best practices and strategies for the Pole.
Collaborate with offering management and technical solutions consultants to actively contribute as part of the relevant NPI business teams for the Vertical

 

Basic\nQualifications:

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of related technical experience, particularly in the delivery of electrical projects such as battery energy storage project, microgrids and microgrid controls applications.
5 additional years of experience as a technical or business development lead, responsible for the delivery of electrical projects such as battery energy storage project, microgrids and microgrid controls applications.Experience as a\n technical or business development lead, responsible for the delivery of\n BESS and microgrid controls projects.Experience and solid\nunderstanding of how battery energy storage projects are designed and\ndelivered, including how site technical issues are resolved
