Position Summary: 

This position is responsible for deep cleaning of the service bar areas, including drains and walls in accordance with established department policies and procedures.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

Performs deep cleaning of service bar areas, including drains and wallsCollects and redistributes glassware in a timely, organized fashionRetrieves requisitions ensuring proper documentation and bottle returns for requisitions and transfers

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains glassware par levelsResponsible for keeping bars stocked with supplies including liquor, beer and glasswareReceives, fills and delivers stock orders and requisitionsMaintains cleanliness of “outlet” rooms (bussing tables, bar area, etc.)

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

Must be able to understand and complete multiple tasks assigned with minimum supervisionPrevious guest service experienceMust be able to read, write and effectively communicate with co-workers in English

Competencies:  Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

Good written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of deep cleaning and power washing techniquesBasic knowledge and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) facts about applicable chemicalsGood knowledge of all legal beverage service guidelines and state liquor laws including proper identification, refusal of service and shutoff proceduresThorough knowledge of ice handling procedures as well as health and sanitation guidelines

Training Requirements:

Understanding of health and sanitation guidelinesSMART alcohol awareness

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to stand and bend for extended periods of timeMust be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
