The Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of beverage operations within the hotel resort, ensuring exceptional guest experience through high-quality beverage service. This role involves managing inventory, staff training, menu development, cost control, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. The Beverage Manager will work closely with the Food & Beverage Director to enhance the resort's beverage offerings and profitability. Additionally, this position plays a crucial role in crafting unique beverage experiences and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities Oversee daily beverage operations across bars, restaurants, lounges, and event spaces.Develop innovative and profitable beverage menus, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks.Manage beverage inventory, purchasing, and supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.Train and supervise bartenders and beverage service staff to maintain high service standards.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal liquor laws and health regulations.Monitor and analyze beverage sales and costs, implementing strategies to improve profitability.Collaborate with marketing and events teams to create promotions and signature drinks.Address guest inquiries and concerns to ensure satisfaction and resolve any service issues.Stay updated with industry trends, emerging drink concepts, and competitive analysis.Uphold cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of all beverage service areas.Work closely with the culinary team to create exceptional food and beverage pairings.Develop and implement sustainability initiatives for eco-friendly beverage practices.Establish and maintain relationships with local breweries, wineries, and distilleries to enhance offerings.Oversee the creation and execution of special beverage events, including seasonal drink promotions and mixology workshops.Develop staff incentive programs to enhance motivation and service excellence.Implement technology-driven solutions to streamline operations, such as digital menu boards and automated inventory tracking. Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a beverage management role within a hotel, resort, or high-end restaurant.Strong knowledge of mixology, wine, spirits, and beverage pairings.Proven experience in cost control, inventory management, and vendor relations.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) is a plus.Experience in hosting beverage-related events, such as wine tastings and mixology classes.Ability to develop and execute training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.Strong financial acumen and ability to create and manage budgets effectively.Experience in curating exclusive beverage selections, such as rare wines and artisanal spirits.
