POSITION SUMMARY
The position is responsible for ensuring the excellent service of patrons in a timely manner by taking orders from guests, garnishing drinks, returning orders to guests and maintaining cleanliness of assigned sections, as well as assuring quality guest service and a favorable gaming experience while controlling levels of intoxication.

Responsible to take orders from patrons, prepare those drinks correctly if necessary, and return these orders in a timely manner. Checks with customers to ensure satisfaction.
Follows sound cash handling procedures.
Keep assigned areas clean and orderly, including the removal of bottles, glassware, and ashtrays. Pushes in chairs as needed.
Responsible to have knowledge of patron limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
Adhere to department service standards of being attentive, audibly noticeable, and timely.
Responsible to assist in stocking and cleaning assigned areas.
Responsible for developing and maintaining positive guest relations, including but not limited to, resolving minor guest disputes and ensuring the safety and security of all guests and employees by notifying Supervisor and / or Security as needed for guest disputes.
10. Knowledge of all special events and promotional activities available to guest.

MARGINAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May be required to serve limited menu of food items. Push in chairs, clean ash trays, and picking up / discarding trash.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
The position is responsible to the Beverage Supervisor for successful performance of assigned duties.

Bar blade / wine key
Dish machines
Coolers
Easy Bar equipment and system
Cash registers and Micros
Beverage trays with glasses, napkins, and other beverage items
Pen and paper and similar equipment for pushing, pulling, and carrying
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Physical demands associated with the position including, but not limited to, the following
Walking and standing during entire shift
Lifting and carrying (up to 25lbs. without assistance) during entire shift

Access to bar environment when picking up beverage orders, including wet floors. Casino environment exposed to various temperatures, smoke, dust and fumes, bright lights, and excessive noise levels. Work area may include cramped or confined spaces. May include boat and/or floating barge. High rise hotel and atrium. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
ESSENTIAL JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES
Ability to read, write and understand simple instructions.
Knowledge of alcohol laws and regulations and appropriate gaming laws.
Ability to handle situations that may arise due to intoxication.
Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.
Ability to perform assigned job duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures.
Ability to efficiently maneuver on Casino floor, around equipment and guests, while balancing a tray of drinks.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING
High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Completes all Company-required training within designated time frames.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
Ability to obtain and hold a Louisiana Responsible Vendor's card.
Must be able to obtain and hold a Calcasieu Parish Bar card
Ability to obtain and hold any and all licenses, certifications, insurance coverage or any other indemnifications which may be required by the company for the successful completion of the duties associated with this position.
