Beverage Specialist

The Beverage Specialist is responsible for prospecting, selling and expanding Shamrock Food Company’s beverage customer account base both inside and outside of Shamrock Foods Company to increase GP in a specified market. Success in this job will be determined by the KPIs established by managers.

Salary of $65,000 to $75,000 with annual bonus potential depending on competency, experience, qualifications and skills plus annual bonus potential. 

\n

Essential Duties:

\n\nProspecting, selling and expanding Shamrock Food Company’s beverage customer account base to increase GP in a specified market.\nCreating and maintaining an individual pipeline of high value prospects.\nEnsuring the accuracy and integrity of pipeline data in approved systems to facilitate accurate reporting to sales leaders, equipment managers and production managers.\nConducting internet and field research to identify high value prospects.\nProspecting within or outside of Shamrock’s existing account base.\nBuilding proformas with pricing models that drive maximum revenue and profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.\nBecoming an expert in beverage industry categories and in the knowledge needed to deliver impactful presentations; achieve superior sales and revenue growth.\nTraining new food service sales representatives on all aspects of the beverage category.\nParticipating in Food Shows/Expos and representing the company at trade association meetings to promote product.\nPerforming other duties as assigned to meet business needs.\n\n

Qualifications:

\n\nThree-year minimum Foodservice Sales or related experience.\nBachelor’s Degree from a four-year university preferred.\nCurrent driver’s license and auto insurance required.\nMust have extensive category knowledge.\nMathematic Skills: must be able to calculate amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, percentages.\nMust be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.\nMust live in or near the assigned territory or be willing to relocate.\n\n
