Works with referral sources to identify and facilitate transition to Home Health care. Works with management to promote agency in community and build business. Trains and educates staff and others regarding home care services. Reports to the Director of Home Care. Specific: Responsible for the area , Home Health Admissions & Marketing. Responsibilities 1) Call on physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, discharge planners and case managers. 3) Prepare business plans and maintain target lists in accordance with the marketing plan. 4) Gather and organize account related information and provide input on key customer opportunities. 5) Maintain accurate and complete records of all contacts made. 6) Use professional sales strategies and complex methods to close sales and develop partnerships. 7) Develop weekly reports and forecasts 8) Obtain referrals as outlined by the supervisor. 9) Work closely with the agency to identify community resources. 10) Utilize market data and execute market development tactics to identify and grow new business opportunities and volume. 11) Assist discharge planners/ case managers with the transition care. 12) Pre- plan daily and weekly activities. 13) Complies with agency policies and procedures. 14) Conduct meetings and presentations with physicians, case managers, discharge planners, medical social workers to attain new referrals and follow ups. 15) Ability to multi task and be adaptable. 16) Build and maintain client relationships. Qualifications 1) Bachelor degree preferred but not required. PLUS a minimum of 2 years care sales experience selling home health care, hospice care, DME, Outpatient therapy, Pharma, assisted living or other healthcare sales experience required. 2) Excellent selling skills to appropriately represent the company to the targeted referral sources. 3) Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills required. 4) Ability to travel within assigned territory and to sales meeting as required by job. 5) Demonstrate a high confidence level to interact with health care professionals at all levels and committed to an excellent customer service Competencies Skills "Essential: * Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal * Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members * Able To Withstand Crisis Situations * Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors * Knowledge And Experience With Electronic Health Records " Credentials Education Entry USD $62,400.00/Yr.
