BHMG Project Coordinator

Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for a Project Coordinator to join the Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG) Access Team. This is a work from home role that requires residency in KY or IN.

The BHMG Project Coordinator will focus majority of efforts on collaborating with the Access Team to assist team in helping BHMG reach goals and strategic objectives for patient access. 

This role will assist with schedule builds, maintenance of Epic security levels for practice teams, working with practices to ensure onboarding providers have appropriate schedule template builds in place, partnering with team members on tasks related to technology advancements, planning and overseeing new hire trainings and tools associated with the program, and partnering with team members on analytics, reviews, and tasks associated with system utilization. 

The Coordinator will take the lead and provide organizational and editorial support for the Access Training and Support SharePoint site. Coordinator will be responsible for development of agendas for team meetings and assist with overall planning for team functions and events.   

Essential Functions:

Provides ongoing progress reports to stakeholders and team members.  Meeting deadlines and managing expectations with the ability to multi-task and move multiple projects forward.Proactively identifies risks, manages issues, and escalates, when appropriate.Continues to develop processes, procedures, and workflows to help improve the Access Team’s ability to deliver value to the organization.Serves as a contact to facilitate changes or updates needed to the Access Training and Support SharePoint site.Serves as a steward to the Patient Connection Hub leaders, managers and team members; ensuring a productive and efficient flow of communications exist between the Access Team and PCH members.Collaborates on an ongoing basis with BHMG leadership, operations, practice managers, providers, the Patient Connection Hub to maintain an open line of communication.Assumes ownership and accountability for projects and assignments.     Establishes and maintains relationships with practices, operations and leadership. Provides knowledge transfer of scheduling and safety procedures and processes to operational leaders, practice managers, providers and staff to ensure ongoing successful execution of scheduling in practices and the continued delivery of safe patient care.

Qualifications:

Prefer Bachelor’s Degree; equivalent and relevant experience may be used to offset some educational requirements.Mandatory previous experience working in a physician practice or familiarity with provider schedule templates and scheduling workflows. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio.  SharePoint knowledge preferred.Epic Cadence knowledge preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills, to include outstanding business writing skills. Exceptional organizational, problem solving, and follow up skills.
