Behavioral Health Professional

 

These positions provide in-home support services to clients and their families in the KidsPeace Supported Families/HCT program.   The BHP provides informal counseling, behavior management, and crisis stabilization services as well as client supervision, supervision of client visitations, observation and assessment.  In addition, the BHP may implement other services indicated on the client's Individualized Service Plan, including advocacy and/or support for the client/family in contacts with schools, other agencies or service providers. The BHP actively participates on the treatment team, attends supervision and training, and maintains all required documentation/paperwork. Part Time BHP's are reimbursed at $19.00 to $26.00/hr. for billable services.  Mileage reimbursement provided as well as flexible schedules.

 

 

Education, Training and Experience:

·         Bachelor's degree in applicable field required.  Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology or other human services field may be substituted for required experience.

·         One year of applicable professional experience preferred.

·         Complete Module I of Behavioral Health Professional Curriculum within thirty days; must obtain BHP certification within one year from date of hire
