As a BI Analyst, you will be responsible for converting digital and analytical capabilities into action for competitive advantage. Using your skills in Databricks, Python, SQL, Power BI with other Azure solutions, you'll be collecting, cleansing and processing, analyzing, interpreting and presenting critical results from all types and sizes of datasets in visual formats.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Participate in all stages of the delivery process, including the creation, technical design, development, testing and implementation of data analytics solutions;
-Identify and analyze customer needs for data analysis;
-Interpret business requirements and determine optimal data analysis solutions to meet needs;
-Identify and provide input on new technology opportunities that will impact data analytics systems across the enterprise;
Develop enterprise-wide data views, custom reports and analyses for a wide variety of applications;
-Participate in the development of performance and management indicators;
-Participate in the creation of dashboards based on performance and management indicators to measure the effectiveness of activities carried out;
Develop analytical solutions to support strategic decision-making;
Carry out strategic analyses and develop statistical decision-making models;
-Respond to ad hoc requests for information;
-Develop, automate and present reporting results;
-Prepare documentation to support interpretation of data analysis solutions;
-Develop, execute and document test plans;
-Develop and train users on data analysis solutions;
-Participate in the incident and problem management process to identify failures and resolve them with the least possible impact on operations;
-Adhere to appropriate standards and procedures, including change control and documentation;
-Take part in other development, quality control and incident management activities, according to the specific needs of each project.
-Contribute his/her expertise and experience to deliver high quality solutions, while sharing and contributing to knowledge exchange with his/her team;
-Ensure knowledge transfer from all completed components to the customer's internal resources;
-Apply the customer's development norms and standards;
-Follow up work on a regular basis, produce estimates of work completed, and participate in all management activities required to supervise his activities.
Ideal profile:
-Minimum Bachelor degree in computer science, business intelligence or related field.
-Previous experience in BI/Analytics solution development of over 5 years, preferably with tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Azure Datafactory, Databricks or equivalent.
-Knowledge of ETL and data modeling concepts.
-SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
-Ability to work in a team in an Agile Safe environment and to communicate effectively.
-Attention to detail and quality orientation.
