As a BI Analyst II, you will play a crucial role within the Business Intelligence team. In this position, you will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to translate business requirements into data solutions that provide valuable information aimed at enhancing the customer experience and improving daily business operations.
You will utilize your skills to generate new and actionable insights by integrating new and existing data. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strong technical skills, a passion for data-driven analysis, and the ability to simplify complex technical information into understandable concepts.

WHAT OUR BI ANALYST II ENJOY MOST
Collaborate closely with business partners to gather detailed business requirements that includes identification and mapping of source system data, and rules for data cleansing, integration, and validationCreate report mockups based on requirements and coordinate with technical team to finalize designsUnderstand data elements in the warehouse at a fine grain to support any form of user needs from research to ad hoc querying to managing large information projectsInteract with senior management or executive level customers and provide support as neededCollaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment in business needs, timelines and department standardsDocument, present, and recommend solutions for handling data anomalies and issuesCreate test plans and scenarios and conduct testing to ensure quality and requirements traceability to final deliverableCreate and maintain design documentation, metadata dictionaries, and report definitions including visual representations of workflows, procedures, and processesCommunicate data nuances and insights to all levels of the company in a clear and concise mannerInstill best practices and support users at all levels of the organization in leveraging BI capabilities for accurate reporting and analysisAssist in creating executive level presentations and documents as neededActively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experienceWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
Advanced proficiency in SQLProven experience and passion for leveraging data to drive business impactExceptionally strong communication skills both written and verbalAbility to analyze, simplify and summarize complex information accurately.High attention to detail and qualityFunctional and technical experience in a large-scale data environment, e.g. developing business requirements, mapping out process flowsUnderstanding of business uses of data for reporting and analyticsEagerness to learn new conceptsDemonstrated in-depth ability to prioritize and organize effectivelyDemonstrated team and relationship building skillsAbility to work independently with minimal guidance, prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects/assignmentsAbility to perform in a fast-paced environmentRequired Education
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Mathematics, or Business Administration or relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Teradata AWS Redshift and/or other MPP data warehouse platformsExperience working with Telecom/Cable MSO data and applicationsExperience working with Tableau or MicroStrategyWorking Conditions
