MiTek is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer who will deliver high quality and scalable data products such as reports and Power BI dashboards for Business Stakeholder consumption. In addition to partnering closely with other MiTek Data and Analytics team members, this individual will work with partners across the enterprise to document business requirements and turn them into automated data products that are intuitive, actionable, and insightful.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

Design, build, and deploy Power BI dashboards from proof-of-concept to production deploymentDesign and publish datasets using a combination of Power Query and SQLAggregate and integrate datasets from multiple sourcesTell stories using data and visual componentsCollaborate with IT, Business Stakeholders, and vendorsHelp design, develop, & monitor data pipelines from source systems (SAAS) to Azure

Core Experience & Requirements

2+ years prior professional experience with data visualization, preferably Power BIExperience stablishing or creating relationships, rules, and calculations within both structured and unstructured dataCreating data models/datasets within Power BIIntermediate to advanced SQL skillsKnow how to set up and troubleshoot custom connectors within Power BIExcellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ERP-driven business processesAzure data tools (Synapse, Databricks, Azure Machine Learning)Experience with Microsoft/Fabric administrative functions

Physical Demands

This role is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role. This role may need to access areas within the building that are undergoing renovations which may contain jobsite hazards. Occasionally this role will required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
