We are seeking a skilled and motivated BI Developer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Looker Studio to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions, transforming complex data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decision-making and ensure the delivery of high-quality dashboards, reports, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain BI solutions using Looker Studio on GCP.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient BI solutions.
• Design, create, and optimize LookML models and Looker dashboards to visualize data effectively.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into BigQuery for analysis.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across reports and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy and visualization.
• Optimize query performance in BigQuery and other GCP data services.
• Work closely with data engineers and analysts to improve existing data pipelines and workflows.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and features in Looker Studio, BigQuery, and GCP.
• Provide training and support to business users for self-service BI solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence development, with a focus on GCP and Looker Studio.
• Proficient in LookML, creating and managing Looker dashboards, and advanced visualizations.
• Strong experience with Google BigQuery and SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes, preferably in a GCP environment.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and relational databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in cloud-based BI solutions and performance optimization.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with other GCP services like Dataflow, Dataproc, or Pub/Sub.
• Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for automation.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices in GCP.
• Relevant certifications in GCP or Looker Studio.
