Hourly Rate\: $22.93

The work schedule for this position is\: 
Tuesday - Thursday | 10 AM - 7 PM
Friday | 11 AM - 8 PM
Saturday | 8 AM - 5 PM

Job Summary
Under the general direction of the One Stop Assistance Desk Supervisor, the BA II is responsible for hiring, training and supervising student workers, maintenance of space booking software, lost and found storage and office supply request processing. The BA II is also responsible for a variety of Circulation/Reserve activities such as reserves processing and circulation duties. Participates in Libchat virtual circulation services. Answers basic reference and technology questions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience\:
* Bachelor’s degree 
* One year experience working in a library or related setting.
* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 
 
Required Skills & Abilities\: 
*Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of public and technical services within the library. 
*Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with library users, staff and student workers. 
*Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to deal with library users, sometimes in stressful situations.  
*Demonstrated interest and knowledge of advanced level of library research procedures and processes. 
*Ability to supervise and oversee student workers. 
*Demonstrated ability to work with MS Office applications, as well as customized computer software and online computer systems.  
*Proven ability to work independently and to multi-task. 
*Ability to work evenings, weekends and over-time shifts. 
 
Preferred
* Experience using Slack as a form of communication. 
* Familiarity of Springshare library software products.
