We are seeking a Communication Foreman - BICSI certified to join our Electrical Self-Perform team for construction projects based in King's Bay, GA.\n
This position is responsible for the planning, installation coordination and documentation\/reporting of the voice\/data\/telecommunications network and associated components of a construction project. Also includes daily supervision, direction, and coordination of assigned construction crews to safely produce quality work, within project requirements, targeted budget, schedule, and in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.\n
Pay $30.00 - $35.00 H, DOE\n
Compensation is based on specific project location AND WILL FOLLOW DAVIS BACON PREVAILING WAGE REQUIREMENTS, WHICH VARY FROM MILITARY BASE TO MILITARY BASE. The hourly range is approximately $30.00-$35.00hr, eligible for overtime. Hours per week average 40-50hrs.\n
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\n\nA high school diploma or GED is the preferred minimum formal education for this position.\nCollege Courses in Construction Management, Engineering, etc. preferred\nBICSI Certifications Required:\n\n\nInstaller 1 - Basic Training\nInstaller 2 - Copper INSTC Cert\nInstaller 2 - Fiber INSTF Cert\nTechnician - Technician Cert\n\n\nTwo or more years work experience in a Foreman position (e.g., scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production of all phases in construction), over electrical\/communications trades on medium or large projects is required. Foreman experience in multiple trades (e.g. concrete, framing\/drywall, earthwork and MEP trades) is a plus.\nThree or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience is in the construction industry highly desirable; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred. Work in the design-build industry is preferred.\nComputer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) preferred. Training can be provided.\nSpecific software literacy (Primavera 3\/6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit) preferred. Training can be provided.\nCPR, First Aid Certification required; OSHA 30-hour Certification and EM-385 preferred; Training can be provided.\n\n
