Role: Bid Coordinator - 12 month FTC
Location: Hybrid Working 2 days per week - Manchester or Birmingham

Role Purpose:
The role of the role of Bid Coordinator is to support the wider bid function and the other members of the team including sourcing opportunities through relevant portals to ensuring that internal governance and best practice is embedded, liaising with appropriate colleagues in BV network as required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Identification of opportunities through effective use of relevant portals and other proactive activities; working towards targets Supporting the production of persuasive content for bids, ensuring Bureau Veritas is positioned as supplier of choice Liaison with internal and external stakeholders to communicate requirements, deadlines and expectations, identify and coordinate all required materials and to ensure bids are submitted on time, with consistency, and in a professional manner Updating and influencing key stakeholders on the progress of bids, and reporting to the Bid Manager and executive committee as required Support the production of monthly tracking of Sales and Revenue Performance in line with targets, along with trend analysis matching strategic requirements Maintaining data integrity and health of the CRM Support the UK Bid No Bid (Go / No Go) process and all related sub processes Maintaining a library of standard materials to ensure quick and professional submission of ITT, PQQ and bid submission
Experience & Skills Required
Broad experience of working within a Formal Bid/Tender Setting, ideally gained in a fast-paced environment Exposure to private and public sector bids and tenders with in-depth knowledge of relevant portals would be highly desirable Experience of proactively identifying commercial opportunities and ownership of tenders from end to end Demonstrable communication skills Diligence and attention to detail A broad awareness and understanding of compliance and risk-based products and services would be advantageous Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills at all levels Strong project management experience and experienced in delivering as part of a cross functional/virtual team Skilled multi-tasker able to work well under pressure, with competing priorities Ideas driven, versatile and an enthusiastic self-starter
