Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end bid management process including overall bid compilation. Preparation of bid task schedule and ensuring consistency to the bid submission timeline. Responsible for accurate completion of bid activities i.e., Bid submission documentation, compliance to the tender specification, cost estimation and optimization, conducting risk workshops etc. Define the work-split and bid plan, and act as the main interface to Sales. Get along with internal and external partners to finalize the scope matrix / division of responsibilities. Prepare and compile pre-bid queries. Prepare and share bid templates with collaborators. Assessment and ensuring compliance to the Pre-qualification criteria in the tender. Plan periodic meetings to assess readiness of the bid submittals and assign tasks accordingly. Control and Coordinate between various internal teams i.e., Engineering, Commercial, Legal, Procurement, Project Management & Quality for respective inputs. Responsible for preparation of PM@Mobility Gate review meetings. Responsible for various internal Siemens specific approvals & processes. Responsible for cost estimation and contributing to meeting the target costs. Support in business model finalization Benchmark solution and costs with other projects Preparation of pricing schedule. Attend bid related customer meetings. Single point of contact for status of the bids in progress; update management team with status of bids Contribute to bid management audits. Compilation of the Post Bid clarifications after receiving inputs from the technical / commercial team etc. Hand-over of the entire bid to project management team Ensure implementation of lessons learnt from execution teams of similar projects. Knowledge & Experience Candidate must have bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in electrical / electronic / mechanical engineering. 4-5 years of proven experience in Bid Management for metro rail tenders related to signaling systems. Technical knowledge of CBTC Signaling systems is required and Telecommunication systems is preferable. You are familiar with dealing with multiple internal and external partners in an intercultural environment to achieve a common target. You are used to prioritize and manage your own time effectively and to think creatively, where necessary. You have a precise and result oriented style of working and you know how to present the essentials to the management. A proficient command of English is vital for this role. This role is based out of Bangalore to support both Indian and International bids. Depending upon bid needs, may need to travel different parts of the world.
