We can promise you rewarding work which makes a real impact, the chance to learn from inspiring colleagues from across a global network and opportunities to grow personally and professionally. Role Summary Digital Solutions Bid Manager is responsible for overseeing the negotiation, implementation, and overall management of contracts between the RES Digital Solutions and its clients, suppliers, or partners. This role will report to the Director of Commercial Excellence and will be the lead for all Digital Solutions Products and Advanced Services. Key Accountabilities Represent RES in pricing discussions and pitches to clientsCreate strategies and specific objectives for estimating and developing budgets/policies/procedures to support the businessManage workloads and approve workflow requests as necessaryWork with sme’s and analysts to accurately price out and package services to potential clientsManage and maintain daily tracking of work completed and decision making for actions required to meet the scheduleWork with the other functional groups (business operations, finance, product, etc.) to improve information feedback systems on client expectations, productivity rates and actual costsIdentify project risks and opportunities including potential cost and schedule impactsCreate and provide monthly status reports to senior leadershipMaintain client and stakeholder expectations through transparencyCoordinates with procurement on quote requests from suppliers and subcontractors, sharing feedback on pricing and performance, improving bench strength. Knowledge, Skills, Experience 3 years’ experience in contract negotiations in any function (sales, bid manager, project manager, contracts, etc.)Knowledge and thorough understanding of contract structure to optimize process, minimize risk, and maximize valueExperience in negotiation of contractual terms and conditions Experience working with Salesforce and Digital, Cloud or AI contract structuresAbility to ensure complianceAbility to resolve disputes in a timely and respectful mannerExceptional communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively across functional teamsStrong analytical skillsWork closely with procurement on supplier reliability and qualificationsIn-depth understanding of the renewable energy industry and market dynamicsStrategic thinking with ability to translate business objectives into actionable sales planExperience working in a multicultural global environmentIntellectual curiosity paired with a high growth-mindsetStrong influencing skills, with a reputation for getting things done effectivelyTeam-player with ability to dig into the details as well as see the big pictureStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and effectively influence at all levels of an organisationIntegrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential informationComfortable to work in an ambiguous environment with a willingness to stretch yourself outside typical role boundariesAdaptive to rapid changes associated with start-up environments and leverage a collaborative mindset to grow and help various teams cross-functionallyAbility to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events Leadership  Lives the Values; Enables Excellence; Demonstrates Active Care  Fosters and demonstrates a workplace inclusive of creating opportunity, serving others, building trust, innovation, and exceeding expectations Participates in hiring and selection process to fill positions on the team Creates and regularly communicates compelling vision of what’s possible and how to accomplishCommunicates regularly with direct reports on KPIs, goals, accomplishments, and policy infoActs as mentor and coach to develop team and build capabilities for present and future Provides tasks and assignments that challenge and stretch employees’ responsibilities Conducts regular discussions with employee(s) on personal development; comfortable with empowering others Conducts timely, effective performance reviews in accordance with RES guidelines Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & ProceduresWork closely and regularly with legal and financial to ensure compliance  At RES we celebrate difference as we know it makes our company a great place to work.
