Due to continued growth the company is now looking for an experienced Bid Manager. As a BID Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire BID Management process from opportunity identification to proposal submission and contract negotiation. You will be reporting to the Company Director and collaborate with a cross-functional team, including design and M&E to develop proposals that align with client needs and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Monitor construction market trends, procurement opportunities and client requests for proposals to identify potential bid opportunities.
Manage the preparation of bid documents, including technical proposals, pricing schedules, and qualification statements, in collaboration with project teams and subject matter experts.
Work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain quotes, pricing, and other required information for bid submissions.
Ensure that bid packages are submitted accurately, professionally, and on time, in accordance with client requirements and specifications.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants to understand their needs, preferences, and expectations.
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and site visits to share & gather bid information and make adjustments as needed.
Negotiate contract terms, conditions, and pricing with clients to secure favourable agreements that meet project objectives and goals.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to review and finalise contract documents and terms.
Degree/qualifications in construction management or related field.
5+ years' experience in Bid Management, Estimating, or Commercial roles within construction with focus in high-tech construction industry including cleanroom, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and data centre or similar.
Proficiency in BID Management software and tools.
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in English, French, and German languages is highly desirable.
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
