Our experience leverages the CBRE brand and experience across all our Advisory Lines of Business, Markets and sub-sector verticals of Local Authorities, Homes, Infrastructure, Development & Finance, Health, and Education. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Sector Bid Manager to lead and manage the bid process for public sector contracts for our UK Advisory business. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in securing new business opportunities by producing high-quality, winning proposals aligned with CBRE’s strategic Sector growth plan. This position requires excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities •Lead and manage the end-to-end bid process for public sector tenders. •Develop and implement bid strategies to maximise win rates. •Coordinate with internal teams (subject matter experts, legal, finance etc) and stakeholders to source required information and inputs for bid submissions. •Collaborate with the Bid Writer to prepare, edit, and review submission content providing clarity, accuracy, and compliance with tender requirements. •Manage bid timelines, meeting all deadlines. •Tailor proposals to reflect the specific needs of the public sector Buyer. •Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for bid submissions. •Contribute to the bid close-out process in keeping an accurate database of bid documentation and templates for future use. •Liaise with internal subject matter experts to clarify Buyer requirements and address any queries. •Collaborate with the central PS BD team to mobilise creation of legal, regulatory, and corporate organisational information. •In collaboration with the Central team, monitor and analyse bid outcomes to identify areas for improvement. Person Specification/Requirements •Proven experience in bid management, particularly within the public sector. •APMP-accredited. •Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and regulations, i.e. PA23 •Knowledge and previous experience of portal management is essential. •Excellent project management and organisational skills. •Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. •Ability to work independently and as part of a team. •Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). •Property/Real Estate experience is essential.
