Contract/ Bid Manager
**Overview** Lead simple to complex bid strategies and oversee end-to-end proposal development supporting Panasonic Connect solutions. As part of our team, you will push boundaries, take action, and face challenges alongside our customers to innovate experiences that define the changing world of work. **What You'll Bring:** **Bid Proposal and Response** + Manage the bid qualification (bid go / no go) process for new opportunities. + Prepare and review all aspects of the bid, ensuring all services are included in the final price to the customer. + Develop a written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation. Prepare management summary as required. + Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bid proposals. + Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic, and business issues. + Track and mitigate risks through the bid process. Capture lessons learned. **Bid Strategy** + Review bid requirements and establish a strategy for response by working with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., system integrators, resellers, sales account managers). + Support compliance factors, identify risks, and mitigate impact. Manage challenges to optimize outcomes. + Maintain consistency with the bidding approach. Ensure continued alignment with bid strategy. **Relationship Management** + Uphold positive working relationships across bid phases (e.g., sales, product, service, resellers, integrators, and distributors). + Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to understand market and customer requirements. + Connect with internal teams to understand risks, regulatory, and compliance issues related to bid requirements. + Develop and maintain relationships with industry associations to understand industry concerns and issues. **Bid Administration** + Maintain a shared repository including responses, clauses, compliance, commercial terms, and product/solution specifications to promote efficiencies & continuous improvement in bid responses. + Maintain metrics to demonstrate bid support value. + Arrange post-bid reviews internally and with sales to promote improved responses and bid-win ratio. **What You'll Bring** **Education & Experience** **:** + BA/BS in Business, Finance, English or Technology, or related majors + Minimum of 5 years working in bid management + Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and SharePoint platforms + Must possess a solid working knowledge of standard contract terms and conditions + 5+ years experience working with Government agencies + Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and DFARS + Project management experience (PMP Certification is a plus) **Competencies** **:** + Collaborates effectively within cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives + Strategic thinking and analysis capabilities (e.g., identifying risks and opportunities) + Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills. + Proven track record in managing large, complex projects + Ability to solve complex problems and propose alternative solutions + Manage competing high-priority deadlines + Expert in navigating complex issues and crafting strategic solutions. + Thrives in fast-paced demanding situations + Demonstrated success in strategic negotiations + Leverage analytical expertise to inform strategic direction **Communications** : + Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization as well as externally to customers, suppliers, and business partners + Collaboration and influencing skills + Strong verbal and written communication skills **Other Requirements** **:** + Travel 10% **What We Offer:** **The salary range of $85,000 –$120,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package.** **Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.** **This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.** + High Performance Culture + A focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion + Teamwork and Collaboration + Rewards and Recognition + Learning & Development Opportunities Across Multiple Business Units + Competitive compensation packages + Comprehensive benefits + Paid Parental Care Leave + Educational Assistance + Volunteer time off + Total Well Being Program + Employee Referral Program _Panasonic is proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
