Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and bilingual (Spanish/English) Human Resources Assistant to support our HR team in managing various HR operations and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning across multiple facilities. This position offers a broad scope of responsibilities, including employee record maintenance, time clock reporting, safety and training compliance, and assisting with administrative tasks. You will also provide support in accounts payable (AP) and invoicing, with training available. The role will involve frequent interaction with employees, particularly on the shop floor, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
In this hands-on position, you will support the HR Director and work closely with HR teams at smaller satellite locations, playing a vital role in fostering a positive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including attendance, write-ups, injuries, and other employee data.Oversee employee time clock reports and ensure compliance with company policies.Ensure safety programs and training are compliant and properly implemented.Support onboarding processes and assist with employee performance reviews.Provide administrative assistance to the HR department, including data entry, managing email inboxes, and responding to HR-related inquiries.Assist with accounts payable (AP) and invoicing tasks (training provided).Engage with employees on the shop floor, addressing HR inquiries and fostering effective communication between staff and management.Provide general HR support across various company locations.Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR administrative role.Bilingual in Spanish (required).Basic understanding of HR functions, including timecard support, paperwork, onboarding, and employee records.Experience with invoicing is a plus.Familiarity with safety programs and compliance is a plus.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality.Comfortable with face-to-face interactions and working directly with employees.Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
