Recruitment/Posting Title Bildner Visiting Scholar in Jewish Studies Department SAS-Ctr - Study of Jewish Life Salary Commensurate With Experience Benefits Posting Summary The Allen and Joan Bildner Center for the Study of Jewish Life at Rutgers University-New Brunswick invites applications for the position of Bildner Visiting Scholar for the 2025-2026 academic year.In 2025-2026, the Bildner Visiting Scholar is a one-semester (fall or spring) appointment to a senior scholar (associate or full professor) with specialization in relations between Jews and their non-Jewish neighbors who will teach a one-semester undergraduate course on antisemitism and a three-part virtual mini-course for the public in their area of research. The Visiting Scholar will also have the opportunity to give a Jewish Studies faculty seminar on their research. The scholar is expected to be in residence in the university area and to be actively engaged in the intellectual life and outreach programs of the Bildner Center and the Jewish Studies Department.
