Summary:
\nCall Center Customer Service Representative. This is a great opportunity to learn Medicaid benefits, eligibility and claims analysis to assist Medicaid recipients and healthcare providers.

\n\n\n Using a computerized system, responds to Virginia Medicaid member and provider inquiries in a call center environment using standard scripts and procedures.\n Gathers information, assesses caller needs, research and resolves inquiries and documents calls.\n Provides clear and concise information regarding eligibility, claim status and provider enrollment status.\n Follows documented policies and procedures including call handling and escalations.\n Overall acts as an advocate for the both Medicaid recipients and providers to ensure their needs are met.\n\n

Additional Duties as Assigned:
\n\n Verify documents and images.\n Complete required assigned training.\n\nPreferred Experience:
\n\n Previous experience with Medicaid, Medicare, or Health Insurance preferred.\n Computer system experience with data entry and database documentation knowledge.\n Call center or professional office experience.\n Knowledge of Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) is helpful.\n Bilingual; Spanish speaking preferred\n\nRequirements
\n\n Must be at least 18 years of age or older.\n Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).\n Must be eligible to work in the United States.\n Must be able to clear a criminal background check and drug test\n MUST have High Speed Internet\n\n
