Position: Bilingual Centralized Scheduler

 

**Fluent in English/Spanish required **

 

Status: Full-Time (40 Hours) 


Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

 

Location: Henderson

Responsibilities Exceptional customer service to create a positive patient experienceAnswers phoneUtilize medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for patientsInsurance verifications, referrals and pre-authorizationsSchedules patients appointments and checks them in at arrivalPatient intake and data entry to ensure proper billingComplete daily billing reports and work with central billing office (CBO)Communication and teamwork with clinic staff as well as all supporting departments to create an enjoyable, seamless experienceOther duties as assigned  Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

HS diploma or GED is required

Preferred Experience

Customer service experience required Minimum 2 years of experience with scheduling/knowledge of Nevada insurances required Knowledge of insurance verification preferredHealthcare, Medical, Dental office administration preferred

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach consistently throughout a work day/shiftAppropriate manual dexterity to enable typing (including10-key) throughout a work day/shiftAbility to lift up to 25lbs, safely, from ground to waist using proper body mechanicsAbility to carry office supplies up to 10lbsVisual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people and understand written directionAbility to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions Additional Data
