What’s the job?

The principal function of the Field Service Representative is to coordinate, perform and provide reports regarding on-site inspections. Also, to perform assigned administrative tasks such as reports and other assigned tasks within time restraints. This Field Service Manager must live in/or near Toronto, ON Canada and must speak French and English fluently.

Inspect roofing, siding (and other product deemed necessary by CertainTeed management) at the request of CertainTeed Technical Services (Roofing), Warranty and Technical Services (Siding) and/or at the request of a plant Quality Manager. Initiate and file a report based on inspection observations. Additional responsibilities that are assigned by the Technical Services Manager or the Field Service Supervisor must be completed in a timely manner.

Perform on-site inspections of roof systems, product claims and extended warranties Provide objective and detailed documentation in conjunction with claims in preparation of on-site inspection reports Coordinate with relevant contacts to schedule on-site inspections Provide assigned reports/tasks within a timely manner Build a good working relationship with installers, TM’s and distributors.
