The Hitchcock, TX facility is seeking a dynamic and organized HR Coordinator to join the team. The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting various human resources functions and initiatives. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
**WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:**
+ Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective resolution.
+ Assist with the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
+ Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
+ Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing offer letters, facilitating orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
+ Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
+ Promote a positive work environment and strong organizational culture through employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and other activities.
+ Prepare routine and ad-hoc HR reports and metrics, providing insights to support decision-making.
+ Ensure accuracy and timeliness of weekly payroll processing by auditing timesheets, verifying employee hours, submitting payroll adjustments, and coordinating with the payroll department to address any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
**YOU HAVE:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience of four years
+ The ability to speak and write fluent Spanish
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
