Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and organized HR professional with expertise in payroll processing to join our team. This role combines human resources responsibilities, such as recruitment, benefits administration, and employee relations, with the critical task of managing payroll processes. Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Duties:

Recruitment & Onboarding: Support hiring efforts by managing job postings, conducting interviews, and coordinating new hire onboarding, ensuring all documentation and training are completed seamlessly.Employee Relations: Serve as a resource for employee questions on policies, benefits, and payroll, addressing concerns with professionalism and discretion.Compliance & Policies: Maintain accurate records and ensure HR practices align with local, state, and federal regulations.Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits programs, coordinate open enrollment, and respond to inquiries about benefits options and changes.Performance Management: Facilitate performance reviews, track metrics, and support management in evaluating employee performance.Training & Development: Assist in planning and implementing training initiatives to foster employee growth and development.Recordkeeping & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive and compliant HR records while preparing reports on activities and metrics as needed.

Payroll Responsibilities:

Process payroll with precision and efficiency, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.Update payroll systems with employee information, including new hires, terminations, and adjustments.Manage payroll deductions, including benefits, taxes, and garnishments, ensuring accurate calculations and timely distribution of pay.Address payroll discrepancies, resolve issues promptly, and collaborate with the Finance team on reporting and audits.Stay informed on payroll-related laws and regulatory changes, ensuring consistent compliance.Handle year-end payroll tasks, including the preparation and distribution of W-2s and other required filings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).2+ years of HR experience, with at least 1 year in payroll administration.Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar) and familiarity with HRIS tools.Bilingual in Spanish.Strong knowledge of employment laws and payroll regulations.Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Payroll certification (e.g., CPP) is a plus.
