ResponsibilitiesPerform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the Human Resources department, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave.Address disciplinary matters, disputes, and investigations.Manage performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale.Oversee occupational health and safety training and development.Provide guidance and ensure consistent implementation of HR programs, policies, procedures, and guidelines.Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring decision.Conduct or acquire compliance and employee eligibility verifications.Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, paperwork completion, and introduction to company policies and procedures.Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.Assist with the development and implementation of employee training and development programs.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, HRIS data, and timekeeping records.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.Ensure regular and reliable attendance.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience in Human Resources (New Hire Onboarding Orientations, Recruiting, Performance Management, Training, Timekeeping, Payroll Support).Bilingual in English and Spanish.Experience with HR policies and procedures.Industry experience in manufacturing.Proficiency with ADP (Workforce Now or Next Generation).Full cycle recruiting (up to 20-30 requisitions per year, mainly in manufacturing).Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite at the manufacturing plant. The work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime for events or meetings on the second shift, but hours will typically be flexible. The general office environment requires occasional exposure to the production area, which may involve airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold. Personal protection equipment is required when entering the manufacturing plant. There may be occasional travel to other locations for training or other purposes as needed.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.62 - $46.16/hr.
