** Position located in KANSAS CITY, MO OFFICE - NOT REMOTE *** TransPerfect seeks a BILINGUAL KOREAN speaking Customer Service Representative to work on a project in Kansas City, MO. This role is project based in support of the 2020 Census and offers an exciting opportunity to make an impact in your community.  The Customer Service Representative position is a role that involves using scripted responses to answer questions from the public, entering information required to process fulfillment requests for Census forms, and collecting and entering Census data into an Internet Self Response (ISR) instrument. The information will be entered into screens on an application via computer. All transactions must be conducted accurately, courteously, and in a timely manner. The CSR will report to a supervisor and be a member of a team lead by a customer service manager. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

·       Navigate to the appropriate pre-scripted responses which CSR must read verbatim to provide basic general and claims-specific information.

·       Utilize standard technology such as telephone, email, and web browser to complete work tasks.

·       Complete basic call-related input in computer terminal to phone inquiries such as clicking buttons to confirm answers.

·       Assist caller with filling out online application and submitting it electronically to the provider for processing.

·       Refer escalated calls as needed to Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

·       High School Diploma or GED

·       Ability to speak English and Korean clearly, professionally, and fluently.

·       Six months of related customer-service experience

·       Security clearance required – position contingent on ability to obtain low risk security clearance

·       Detail oriented

·       Strong written, verbal, and typing communication skills are required

·       Effective administrative and organizational skills
