Description We are introducing an interesting opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team based in San Diego, California. In this role, you will be extensively involved in the financial operations of our organization, including handling accounts payable and receivable, conducting cost analysis, and participating in month-end activities. Your contributions will be instrumental in maintaining our financial stability and ensuring we adhere to sound financial practices. Responsibilities: • Oversee the entire process of accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments • Manage accounts receivable, making sure all payments are received and properly recorded • Participate in the month-end closing activities, ensuring all financial data are accurate and up to date • Collaborate with our tax consultant in preparing for tax, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities to help guide our financial planning • Conduct cost analysis to identify potential areas for financial improvement • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded • Prepare and post journal entries as necessary, ensuring accurate reflection of our financial activities • Perform bank reconciliations regularly, ensuring all financial data are accurate and reliable. Requirements • Possess strong knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) • Demonstrable proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately and efficiently • Experience with the General Ledger, including maintaining and reviewing • Proficient in creating and managing Journal Entries • Experience with Month End Close procedures and reporting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
