Bilingual Mental Health Therapist, Care and Connections for Families - Rockville, MD

Care and Connections for Families provides in-home counseling and support services to families whose children are experiencing a mental health crisis. Sheppard Pratt provides crisis intervention services that address the family’s immediate needs. We also help pave the way toward a long-term, stable family environment with support services.

What to expect.

We are seeking a bilingual (proficient in English and Spanish), licensed social worker or counselor to provide mental health services. You will work closely with in-home stabilizers to develop and implement service plans for youth and their families from Central and South America who are experiencing a mental health crisis.

Specific responsibilities include:

Providing clinical assessments and treatment services to assigned clients and their families. Maintaining at least the required minimum case load (10 clients) as interpreted by our county contract monitor. Completing all required documentation in a timely manner and ensuring maintenance of complete clinical record as directed by policies and procedures.

What we need from you.

Must possess one of the following at time of hire: Licensed Certificated Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C) Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) Must speak fluent English and Spanish. A driver’s license with 3-points or less and access to an insured vehicle. Experience working with at-risk adolescents and families is preferred.
