Job Title: Bilingual Payroll Specialist
Location: Houston, TX (77060)
Job Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Hours - M-F, 8-5 or 7-4 (flexible)
 
Key Responsibilities: Handle full-cycle payroll processing for weekly payrolls. Accurately input all necessary payroll-related data for processing. Address internal and external payroll inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses while maintaining confidentiality. Process terminations correctly and within the required time frame for each jurisdiction, including obtaining proper approvals for any payments. Conduct audits of payroll data each pay period, ensuring file totals match payroll totals, and provide monthly payroll reports as needed. Support internal and external audits by ensuring payroll records are accurate, organized, and properly maintained. Manage year-end tax reporting and reconciliation, including W-2 forms.
Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent; associate's degree preferred 1-3 years payroll processing experience Must have experience with Viewpoint and Excel Bilingual in Spanish required Strong team player with the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with all departments Self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment  
Compensation: $24-26/hr
