Bilingual Proofreader

And to do it saving you time and money, while still getting you to the best quality product. **Overview** We’re looking for a top-notch Bilingual Proofreader (English and Quebec French) to proofread copy decks and creative layouts online for our client, a major Canadian bank. Our ideal candidate is a meticulous, detail-oriented, well-organized individual with a passion for flawless execution to the highest standards expected by our clients. They will work independently and with the agency QA team to ensure our online marketing assets meet an extensive set of established graphic standards, grammar, spelling, image quality and layout/design. They will organize multiple projects, manage their time and prioritize effectively. **Responsibilities** • Ensure that the client-approved English and French copy decks match the corresponding creative/graphic layouts • Review layouts against the corporate brand guidelines (checking for typographic consistency, logo placement and alignment of graphic elements, etc.) • Annotate errors and inconsistencies clearly and concisely and work closely with the creative department and account service teams • Follow established digital studio workflow, process and procedures **Qualifications** • 3-5 years’ proofreading experience (print and/or digital) in an ad agency, similar marketing department, design studio, publishing or print environment • Previous financial services experience a plus • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word) and Abode Creative Suite (Acrobat) is required • Experience with industry-standard digital workflow software such as JIRA, Workfront or Float is a plus • Ability to work collaboratively and show a willingness to help others • Must be able to take initiative • Communicate effectively with studio staff and the broader agency team • Ability to adapt to changing workflows and stay up-to-date with new technical developments to enhance speed, efficiency and accuracy • Admin. tasks include attending regular status meetings and completing timesheets in a timely manner **Additional information** PublicPublicis Canada is committed to building a diverse workforce representative of our community.
