Inova Cares Clinic for Women is looking for a dedicated RN Outpatient to join the team. .This role will be full-time, day shift Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Location: Inova Cares Clinic for Women- 6400 Arlington Blvd #210, Falls Church, VA 22042.
**Candidate selected for this position, may be required to float between Alexandria, Herndon and Mount Vernon when needed**
Inova Cares for Women is part of Inova’s Community Health service line. The Registered Nurse Outpatient provides safe/therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way in a physician practice or other outpatient setting. Incorporates differences into the provision of care while integrating knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families to include patient and family education. Achieves desired patient outcomes by using an integrated approach. Incorporates data and information to improve care and enhances outcomes while ensuring improvements in practice settings. Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice while serving as a resource, preceptor and mentor.
Requirements
Certification - Basic Life Support Upon Start
Licensure - Registered Nurse Upon Start Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
Experience - 0 years of experience. 2 year of experience in Women's Health is preferred
Education: Bachelors Degree Nursing BSN. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
Other: - Communication / Speaking / Writing Proficient in English. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others. Proficient computer skills are required. Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
