Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions. **WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:** + Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management. + Ensure the timely and accurate movement of materials into, within, and out of the warehouse. + Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits using 5S principles. + Implement and carry out safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. + Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and customer service, to meet company goals and customer expectations. + Monitor and report on critical metrics to track warehouse efficiency and productivity. + Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, shipments, or staff performance. + Lead all aspects of the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. **YOU HAVE:** + High school diploma or equivalent certificate required. + Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred, although equivalent experience will also be considered. + The ability to speak and write fluent Spanish + Forklift certification required. Can obtain within 30 days of employment. + Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software. + Experience in inventory control management and 5s principles + Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts), Word, and PowerPoint presentations + Basic knowledge in project development. + Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. + Strong leadership and team management skills. + Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. **Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands:** + Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 lbs. + Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. + Comfortable working in varying temperatures within the warehouse. **WE HAVE:** + A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day + At nVent, we believe safer systems ensure a more secure world.
