Bilingual Social Worker- Nassau County Family Treatment Court

EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 79,000 people through 100 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a dedicated full time Bilingual Social Worker (Parent Educator/ Coach) to join the Nassau County Family Treatment Program .     Salary:  $80,000-85,000 annually  Schedule: 9AM-5PM, Monday- Friday Location:  Westbury, NY  Reports to: Senior Director   What drives the core purpose of this job:   The Social Worker (Parent Educator/Coach) oversees the comprehensive parenting education and support program for the Nassau County Family Treatment Court (NFTC). This role ensures the effective implementation and seamless integration of parenting services with existing NFTC services. The Social Worker (Parent Educator/Coach) delivers high-quality parenting education, coaching, and support to participants, facilitating interactive workshops, providing one-on-one coaching sessions, and supporting participants in developing effective parenting skills and strategies.   What are the key responsibilities:    1. Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the comprehensive parenting education and support program within the NFTC framework. 2. Develop and facilitate evidence-based parenting education workshops in English and Spanish, covering topics such as communication, discipline, child development, stress management, and building strong parent-child relationships. 3. Conduct individual parenting coaching sessions tailored to each family's unique needs and circumstances, providing personalized guidance and support. 4. Facilitate peer-led parenting support groups in Spanish, creating a safe and inclusive environment for families to connect, share experiences, and encourage one another. 5. Collaborate with the NFTC multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless integration of parenting services with existing court processes, treatment plans, and case management. 6. Provide training and supervision to Parenting Educators/Coaches, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality services. 7. Conduct assessments and develop individualized service plans for families, addressing their specific parenting needs and goals. 8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including participant progress notes, attendance, and outcome data. 9. Participate in regular case conferences with the NFTC team and community partners to discuss participant progress and coordinate services. 10. Continuously evaluate and refine the program based on participant feedback, outcome data, and best practices in the field.   What key knowledge, skills, and abilities are required to excel in this role:    1. Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, with a focus on family and parenting education. Licensed Preferred. 2. Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken). 3. Extensive knowledge and experience in evidence-based parenting education and family support interventions. 4. Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants. 5. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. 6. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and community partners. 7. Familiarity with trauma-informed practices and cultural competency in working with diverse populations. 8. Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and report writing. 9. Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to participant homes and community locations as needed. 10.
