Position Overview:
We are seeking a Bilingual Spanish Customer Service Representative to join a compassionate and hardworking team. This individual will be the first point of contact for clients and community members—answering inquiries, connecting individuals to vital resources, and offering empathetic support in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, quick thinker, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume call center or front desk environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Respond to inbound calls and emails from community members in both English and Spanish.
+ Assist clients with inquiries about services, eligibility, and scheduling.
+ Provide accurate information and referrals to internal departments or external resources.
+ Maintain a calm and supportive tone while handling sensitive or emotionally charged conversations.
+ Accurately enter call and case data into the organization’s CRM or tracking systems.
+ Collaborate with program staff and case managers to ensure seamless service delivery.
+ Follow up with clients to confirm service completion or additional needs.
+ Support walk-in clients and assist with intake forms or applications, as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
+ 1+ year of customer service, call center, or administrative support experience preferred—nonprofit or social service experience highly desired.
+ Excellent listening skills, patience, and cultural sensitivity.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new databases quickly.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills:
+ Prior experience working with vulnerable or underserved populations.
+ Familiarity with case management or social service software systems.
+ Background in health, housing, or family support services a plus.
