Description We are looking for a dedicated and bilingual Spanish/English Customer Service Representative to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This is a long-term contract position that requires strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. The role involves providing exceptional service to policyholders, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Assist policyholders through inbound and outbound calls, addressing service and claims inquiries effectively.
• Review and explain product benefits to customers, aiming to retain policyholders and enhance their understanding of insurance options.
• Support premium collection efforts, including both current and past-due payments, while maintaining professionalism.
• Handle administrative tasks such as data entry and document collection using multiple systems.
• Meet departmental standards for call quality, average handle time, and other performance metrics.
• Provide clear instructions and set expectations for customers regarding their policies and coverage.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and propose process improvements that enhance customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills to resolve complex issues and provide appropriate solutions.
• Exhibit organizational traits and shared values while consistently striving to meet company objectives.
• Adapt to varying shifts and schedules based on business needs. Requirements • High school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage customer inquiries and resolve issues with a detail-oriented approach.
• Experience in data entry and working with multiple applications.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex customer needs.
• Ability to work independently and consistently meet performance standards.
• Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures is a plus.
