The Role
Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, the Bilingual Strategic Marketing Officer will play a critical role in shaping and executing marketing communications strategies across Canada. You’ll lead efforts to enhance brand visibility, cultivate key partnerships, and drive impactful marketing campaigns that contribute to growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
Brand Representation: Ensure the corporate brand is consistently and effectively represented across the Canadian marketplace.
Strategic Development: Assist in crafting and implementing consumer relations, brand, and corporate strategies.
Partner Program Growth: Grow and sustain the Brand Partner Program across supplier, retail, and online channels.
Agency & Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a key contact for agency partners, provincial boards, and external stakeholders.
Marketing Campaigns: Plan and execute seasonal marketing plans across all advertising channels, both internal and external.
Community Engagement: Develop and roll out a Community Engagement strategy in collaboration with corporate stakeholders and provincial representatives.
Trade Show Representation: Represent the brand at trade shows and events as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders and directors to execute marketing initiatives that align with departmental goals.
Ad-Hoc Projects: Take on additional responsibilities assigned by the Director of Brand Marketing and the CEO.

Qualifications
Education: Post-secondary education or relevant training in marketing, sales, communications, or strategy.
Experience: Minimum of five years in corporate marketing, with expertise in B2B and B2C environments.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and deliver results.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the grocery and retail industries is an asset.
Collaboration Skills: Capable of working cross-functionally within an organization to align with stakeholder needs.
Stakeholder Engagement: Experience building partnerships with external stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers.
Team Player: Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work independently.
Language Skills: Fully bilingual in French and English (written and spoken).
Travel: ability to travel within Canada a few times annually.
