Job Summary
If you are looking for an opportunity in Order Engineer team, Emerson has an exciting role for you! You will be a part of the team located in FCEC, Chennai and will review the customer purchase order from Sales & LBP teams, transform them into accurate Bills of materials (BOM) and release the order to MEA factory, drive continuous improvement on metrics and ensure accurately detailed technical order constructions in the business systems at all the stages of manufacturing.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Who You Are:
You have good attention to details and can review sales order requirements against Engineering Documents to produce High Quality Bill of Materials. You can identify the right part among the list of part numbers that looks the same. You can identify any discrepancies or conflicts based on Engineering logics. You can communicate with the Project Engineers/Application Engineers effectively to resolve any issues with Sales order requirements. You actively seek input from pertinent sources to make timely and well-informed decisions. For This Role, You Will Need: 3 years’ overall experience Knowledge in SAP, Oracle Business system, Microsoft or any other ERP system is mandatory General understanding on the quote to cash processes Mechanical / Technical drawing interpretations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Basics of SAP or any relevant ERP. Knowledge of Pressure relief valves and regulators Prior experience of 2+ years in similar industry or in Bill of materials function Strong interpersonal skills.
