Description We are in search of a Billing Administrator to join our team in the engineering industry located in Edina, Minnesota. This role involves providing accounting support to project teams, with a focus on project setup, invoicing, and collections. Responsibilities • Ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables and coordinate with clients to collect outstanding amounts • Analyze and troubleshoot issues as they arise, providing solutions and remedies • Assist project managers in determining the appropriate project work breakdown structure • Set up projects in Deltek Vantagepoint and other relevant software applications • Work directly with project managers to review project reports and determine necessary corrective actions prior to invoice preparation • Prepare and send invoices to clients, adhering to contractual obligations and company requirements • Review contracts, purchase orders, work orders, and task orders prior to invoicing • Maintain and analyze project reports from Deltek Vantagepoint, comparing budgets to actual spending • Resolve accounting issues with client accounting or contacting staff when necessary • Collaborate with multiple people in a fast-paced, client-centric environment Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Billing Administrator role or similar. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory. • Demonstrable skills in Billing are essential. • Familiarity with Cash Applications is necessary. • Prior experience in Cash Collections is needed. • Experience in Commercial Collections is beneficial. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. • Familiarity with Oracle software is a plus. • Experience with QuickBooks is desirable. • Knowledge of SAP software is beneficial. • Prior experience with Deltek software is advantageous. • Proficiency in using Deltek Vision is a plus.
