Billing Analyst - 12 month Contract
The Billing Analyst is responsible for the timely and accurate running of various billing cycles, solving billing related issues, and responding to customer queries related to billing. This position is also responsible for uploading invoices into online customer portals and coordinating with AR to follow up with customers regarding payment status.



 

Key Responsibilities:

Run required billing cycles for Solid Canadian districtsMonitor company billing system for proper account set-up and activity flowMonitor customer accounts for irregularitiesResearch and resolve billing discrepanciesMonitor and support billing adjustment requirementsRespond to customer questions and requestsPrepare and execute invoice adjustmentsEmailing and Print/Mailing of invoicesCompiling required documentation during billing processes required for auditPortal Invoicing (entry and follow-up)Contact customers and update account info as neededPerform other duties and responsibilities as required



Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

Previous billing experience considered an assetStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyTeam player with positive attitude who takes initiative and has a strong work ethicAbility to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlinesStrong interpersonal and communication skills (both written as well as verbal) with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a professional, competent mannerEffective time management and organizational skillsAbility to work efficiently and independentlyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsComputer literacy, including effective working skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookTRUX Route Management experience considered an assetExperience in the waste industry considered an assetEnrolled in or Completed a Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma – Accounting/Finance or related discipline is preferred but not required

Working Conditions:

Primarily in an office environment in EdmontonLimited travel may be requiredAbility to attend and conduct presentations
