Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Billing Specialist, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is primarily centered around billing operations and handling ad hoc projects related to contract pricing adjustments. It also involves working extensively with Microsoft Excel, conducting cash applications, and resolving payment discrepancies. Responsibilities: • Assist in billing process operations and adjustments. • Handle special projects related to changes in contract pricing. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for report generation and data management. • Conduct cash application processes and ensure their accuracy. • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payment. • Perform reconciliation of unapplied cash. • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of customer credit records. • Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency. • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Demonstrated experience in Billing procedures • Familiarity with Commercial Collections • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) • High attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
