Introduction

 

We are seeking a Billing Analyst to join our Finance team. You will be responsible for analyzing, recording, processing, and monitoring all customer invoices for material, product, or services In this position, you will report to the Controller.

 

This position is mainly located in Brookfield, WI, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. The role may involve up to 5% travel to other internal Metso sites for meetings and/or trainings.

 

Team you belong to

 

You will join the finance team that is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing by preparing invoices, analyzing data, and resolving client inquiries. They also ensure compliance with regulations and prepare detailed billing reports. The members in our team are located in Brookfield, WI.

 

What You’ll Do

 

Invoice Management: Assemble, review, and process customer invoices and related documents with precision. Charge Preparation: Accurately prepare customer charges, including labor, material, and equipment. Timely Processing: Ensure prompt and accurate processing of customer invoices. Transaction Analysis: Review and analyze all billing transactions to maintain accuracy. Credit Memo Handling: Review and process all parts and wear credit memos efficiently. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all billing activities comply with safety and regulatory requirements. Additional Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned to support the team.

 

Who You Are

 

Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: At least one year of experience in an accounting department, with exposure to invoicing and accounts receivable. Communication Skills: Written and verbal communication abilities. Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of personal computers, standard software, and business systems. Organizational Skills: Organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Service-oriented and diplomatic.
