SUMMARY

The Billing Analyst II will assist in the collection and maintenance of financial data to effectively process accurate and timely financial reporting and incentive processing requests. Additionally, the position will work closely with the Construction Accounting Manager III on various projects to help the Submeter Operations department meet all objectives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following: Manages and maintains a monthly profit margin analysis by client, project or product that captures: new submeter system installation and service work performed. This information will be used for: Revenue & expense planning, Client retention analysis and Incentive management and reporting for service account engineers Manage and maintain a process to help define and secure any necessary permits needed to install submetering systems (new installation) Work with operating business unit leadership during the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes Assist in reconciling billings for submeter install projects and maintenance visits Manage, maintain and communicate a monthly submeter ledger report Manage projects to deadline, working collaboratively with clients and internal departments to accomplish objectives and communicate status updates effectively to all stakeholders Forge strong relationships and collaborative partnerships with new and existing client contacts, as well as internal stakeholders and Submeter team members Communicate consistently in a clear and concise way and adapt to client-specific needs by providing options/alternative solutions Assist with special projects as requested, including custom reports and special data requests

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES 

Strong financial acumen with a finance or business-related college degree Strong data mining and data automation skills Strong skills with Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced), Access, Word, and PowerPoint Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and analytical / problem solving skills A desire to analyze details and develop easily understood explanation of your results Preferred experience with financial reporting tools such as Hyperion Essbase, Cognos, etc. Ability to provide innovation and improve processes Excellent written and verbal communication along with customer service skills Must be self-motivating, hardworking, analytical and proactive
